Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust and Jersey Zoo
Gerald Durrell was a world pioneer in captive breeding. The site is an excellent source of information about endangered species and their conservation. The Jersey Zoo (UK) is where some of this work is carried out; the rest happens wherever the species are located. Go to the "The Animals We're Saving" page (http://www.durrellwildlife.org/index.cfm?a=1) to get very detailed species accounts.
