Golden Lion Tamarin Conservation Program (GLTCP)
Golden Lion Tamarins (GLTs) are small (500-600 gm) monkeys native to Brazil. They live in the heavily populated coastal region, where less than 2% of the forest remains. About 400 GLTs are living in the wild, most in or near the Reserva Biologica de Poço das Antas in the state of Rio de Janeiro. About 500 live in zoos.

Indus Dolphin
The Indus Dolphin, a species endemic to Pakistan, was, historically, distributed within the Indus River system including all the main tributaries, from the foothills where the rivers entered the plains to the Indus delta. Due to pollution, change of habitat and the river system, there are only an estimated few hundred remaining.

Tamaraw - Dwarf Water Buffalo
The tamaraw is a small wild buffalo weighing about 660 lb. It lives in dense forest with open glades for grazing, such as are created by fires or landslides on the island of Mindoro (Philippines). It is one of the rarest mammals with an estimated population of only a couple hundred.

The Iriomote Cat
The Iriomote cat is only found on the small Japanese island of Iriomotejima and provides one of the most controversial debates in the speciation of the felidae family. Considered, a rare sub-species of the leopard cat but listed as the sole member of a separate genus, making it one of the rarest and most endangered species of wild cat.
