General Mission: New Britain Youth Museum Hungerford Park has appeal for all ages with an indoor exhibit hall, outdoor and indoor exotic and farm animal displays, walking trails on an 80-acre wooded lot, wild and cultivated flower gardens, and a well stoked gift shop. The Museum provides programs for school and other groups as well as after-school and evening programs for individuals. Public animal programs are presented once a day during the summer and three times a day on Saturdays throughout the year.
