Dear NAAEE Member,

Is high quality environmental education important to you? Are you thinking
about making a year-end charitable contribution?
If you answered yes to either of these questions, then please consider
making a contribution to your professional environmental education
association - NAAEE!

For almost 30 years NAAEE has been a world leader in promoting and improving
environmental education, providing the most stimulating conferences, the
best professional network, and the most innovative thinking in the field of
EE.  But NAAEE is its members. You contribute the ideas, the hard work, and
the dues.  Now we are asking you for an extra contribution to help us
reinvigorate the organization so that we can continue to provide our members
with the services they need.

As the 2000 and 2001 presidents of NAAEE we can assure you that the board
and staff have worked very hard over the past two years to refocus NAAEE. We
have solicited your feedback through meetings and surveys, and crafted a new
set of specific objectives that will take the Association where you want it
to go.  You will be receiving details about these exciting changes
throughout the coming year.

But right now, during this holiday season, if you are thinking of giving
your donation will be well placed with NAAEE.  All contributions to NAAEE
are tax deductible and, even more importantly, they are a meaningful way to
carry on the work to which we are all dedicated.

We are grateful for large donations, of course, but if each of our 2,400
members contributed just $25 each, it would help us pass through a difficult
transition time as we rebuild the Association.
