VOLVO ADVENTURE PRIZE Volvo is offering young people the chance to devise and publish action plans to help their environment under five headings: Biodiversity, Consumption, Water, Transportation and Pollution. The challenge is to produce a practical action plan that will improve your school or community environment. The Volvo web site provides simple activities to try out and a method to write up ideas. The best teams from each country will be asked to join an international conference to present their ideas in Sweden, and compete for a cash prize. All of the ideas and action plans will be published and presented to the United Nations Environment Programme. http://www.volvoadventure.org/site/index.asp?ID=435
