1. JOURNAL OF ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATION ? CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS The Journal of Environmental Education seeks unpublished articles on important research; reports on projects, programs, and initiatives; review articles; and critical essays/analyses on issues and policies. The Journal seeks to publish material that is designed to advance the instruction, theory, methods, and practice of environmental communication and education. It publishes articles dealing with environmental education at all levels, from primary through college and adult education. PACIFIC LIFE FOUNDATION The Pacific Life Foundation accepts grant proposals from agencies seeking funds for programs and projects in the areas of health and human services; education; arts and culture; and civic, community, and environment. Contributions are made primarily in areas with large concentrations of Pacific Life employees - generally, Orange County, California, and the greater Phoenix, Arizona area. Some California statewide and national organizations also receive support. Most general grants are given for program support or operating expenses and range from $2,500 to $10,000 for a one-year period.
