2. NAAEE MOVES TO 2-YEAR PRESIDENCY - DEADLINE EXTENDED
Nominations Deadline: September 9, 2005
The NAAEE Board of Directors voted to change the term-of-office for
president-elect from 1 year to 2 years effective for the 2005
elections. In an effort to move NAAEE forward and to grow its
leadership, the Board decided that a 2-year president-elect leading to
a 2-year presidency would help stabilize and develop the organization’s
leadership. The extended term of office gives the president-elect more
time to learn about the inner workings of the organization and to
prepare for the presidency. The new deadline for nominations is
September 9, 2005. Nominations for all positions are welcome.
