Craighead Environmental Research Institute
CERI's mission is to enable human beings to coexist with other species and help plan human expansion based upon the needs of other species. They develop scientific regional reserve designs to maintain carnivore populations (and biological diversity).

NOAA - National Marine Sanctuaries
This site contains a history and timeline of the National Marine Sanctuaries program, information about designation and legislation, a monthly news page, a national calendar, and stories about the people and creatures who live, work and play in the national marine sanctuaries. Educational materials are being developed for teachers and students.

NOAA - Sustainable Seas Expeditions
Along with daily mission logs, the SSE Web site offers a calendar of scheduled Web chats and Student Summits, facts about the research investigations and the innovative technology used, detailed maps and a photo gallery of the habitats and the inhabitants unique to each site. Woodland Network
Woodland Network is an international project in which secondary schools across the globe analyze nearby woodland areas. Teachers and students look at the state of a forest, add their data to a database, and examine regional differences.

Johnny Elmseed Regional Nursery Project
A community service project sponsored by the Elm Research Institute. The mission of ERI is to restore elms to cities and towns, while simultaneously helping to raise funds for organizations such as Boy Scouts and other non-profit volunteer groups.

Indiana University - School of Education
Offers fully accredited distance coursework for elementary and secondary teachers and administrators, and those seeking certification. Includes several courses on internet based teaching in the K-12 classroom.

eTeach
A calender of events and programs offered by members of the Environmental Education Consortium of the Grand Traverse Region in Northwestern Lower Michigan, as well as organizational information about eTeach members.

Solar Schools
Solar Schools has a searchable database of schools that are involved in solar energy projects, an online discussion forum, and resources for schools interested in utilizing solar energy. Sponsored by the DOE's Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Network (EREN).

Al Shouf Cedar Society
Al Shouf Cedar Society runs the biggest cedar nature reserve in Lebanon. Listings of fauna and flora found on the reserve, photographs, a natural history of the area and subscription information for the Al Shouf Cedar Society newletter included in this site.

The Environmental Education and Training Partnership
Formed by the North American Association for Environmental Education and the US EPA's Office of EE, EETAP provides environmental education training and support to education professionals. EE resources are available in .PDF format from the EETAP resource library.

Environmental Education Services (EES)
EES offers training for "the formal and nonformal educator to use environmental education curricula in and out of the classroom," through hands-on workshops. Based in Washington, D.C., programs include tree plantings, gardening, storm drain stenciling projects, community cleanups, trips on the Anacostia and Potomac River.
