"Public School Insights: What is Working in our Public Schools" is a project of the Learning First Alliance, a permanent partnership of 18 major national education associations that represent over 10 million parents, educators, and policymakers. This new Web site gives teachers the opportunity to learn about what is working and get ideas from other educators. Several environmental initiatives, interviews, and activities are featured, including an interview with Richard Louv, author of Last Child in the Woods, and "The Great Copy Machine Epidemic of 2008," a project challenging students to go a day without photocopied handouts in their classroom.
