Project WILD is one of the most widely-used conservation and environmental education programs among educators of students in kindergarten through high school. Project WILD is based on the premise that young people and educators have a vital interest in learning about our natural world. The program emphasizes wildlife because of its intrinsic and ecological values.

Education 4 Conservation (E4C) is a non-profit organisation based in the UK which provides resources for conservation educators through its portal website as well as partnering on selected international wildlife conservation education projects. The latest project is to help build and equip a Large Carnivore Education Centre in Bulgaria on a UNESCO site in the Pirin mountains following the successful award of funding from Defra’s (Department of Environment Food and Rural Affairs) Darwin Initiative. E4C is keen to develop a comprehensive database of conservation education case studies and provide access to a wide range of education and teaching materials.
