Study Natural Ecosystems in the South Pacific    
The College of Forestry and Conservation at The University of Montana is offering students the opportunity to expand their knowledge and experience of natural ecosystems in the South Pacific. These field-based, experiential classes focus on the environmental and conservation concerns, as well as the modern and traditional cultures, of Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji. Northern Arizona University program for a small group of outstanding students (about 25), preferably from undergraduate Honors programs, with widely varying disciplinary and personal interests, to join a strong and dedicated teaching faculty of NAU professors, museum curators, NPS rangers, artists, writers, photographers and Native American leaders to study the Grand Canyon and southern Colorado Plateau region from the perspectives of the humanities, the social sciences, and the natural sciences. Each student usually takes 15 to 18 credit hours. The courses are designed to be easily transferable back to students’ home institutions.
