This is a great tool for formal and nonformal educators. It is composed of a series of EE concepts that support an understanding of our environment through a systems framework, highlighting the interrelations of natural and social systems. The framework is built upon a set of sequenced benchmarks that define the scope of environmental knowledge students need to be environmentally literate.

This is the third report card that takes the results of a random sample survey of 1,000 Minnesota adults, breaks the responses down demographically and compares them to related survey questions in studies performed in Minnesota, by other states, and nationally. Questions were on knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors related to the environment along with questions on energy and climate change.

Minnesota Minerals Education Workshop 2006 workshop dates: August 1-3 Workshop location: Duluth, MN The Minnesota Minerals Education Workshop consists of a day-long series of classroom sessions followed by a day and a half-day of geology field trips and tours of mining operations.
