Texas Association for Environmental Education (TAEE)        
"An organization of teachers, administrators, college and university faculty, natural resource managers, public agency employees, and private citizens who share a common interest in promoting EE in Texas." TAEE holds two conferences per year and is affiliated with the Science Teachers Assoc of Texas.

Sibley Nature Center Site Offers Bioregional EE    
The Sibley Nature Center Web site has 600+ essays and 110 photoessays with over 4000 photographs of the Llano Estacado. The majority of teachers or students cannot name West Texas' 50 most common birds, wildflowers, invertebrates, or the 20 most common mammals, reptiles, and amphibians. The majority of either teachers or students in any school in this region cannot name the Indian tribes that lived in their bioregion, nor can they list the 20 most important early European explorers and early settlers that shaped their bioregion’s history. The Sibley Nature Center’s mission is to change that.

Sibley Nature Center    
The Sibley Nature Center in Midland Texas is a bioregional education center for the Llano Estacado of West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. With focus on the ecology of the region and its history, the Web site has over 425 essays, 100+ photoessays with over 2500 photographs about the region. Resources for xeriscaping in the region are also available.

Texas Education Agency      
The Texas Environmental Education Advisory Committee (TEEAC) coordinates with other state agencies that are charged with the development of environmental education materials. Environmental Science Institute
