Fundamentals of EE Course ~ Online    
10-week EETAP online course about the fundamentals of environmental education is appropriate for both classroom teachers and for non-formal educators who work with students and/or teachers. All students are eligible for the in-state tuition rate and 3 undergrad or grad credits from the Univ. of Wisconsin-Stevens Point or take the course as a non-credit workshop. May not be offered all semesters -- check with USWP.

World Ecosystems Beyond Borders (WEBB)    
Free Web-based curriculum to help teachers bring global environmental issues to science and social studies classrooms. The WEBB curriculum engages students in a dynamic study of local and global issues to prepare them for citizenship in an increasingly interconnected world. 2007 Midwest EE Conference ~ CFP

The Wisconsin Association of Environmental Education (WAEE) invites presentation proposals for the 2007 Midwest Environmental Education Conference that addresses the theme “No Child Left Inside,” October 18-20, 2007 in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. The keynote speaker will be Richard Louv, author of the book Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder.

Wisconsin Project Wild      
A nationwide environmental education program consisting of activity guides and supplementary environmental education materials for K-12 classrooms, youth groups, home schools, and nature centers. Completely revised in 2001, Project WILD encompasses over 165 environmental education activities.

Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) Program    
Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) program at University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) College of Natural Resources. Started in 1991, BOW provides weekend long, beginner level outdoor skills workshops for women 18 and older.
