Blue Poppy Garden is a showcase environmental site in coastal Maine. The 12-acre site is open to the public from mid-May to mid-October. We encourage teachers to bring students to learn more about woodlands, wetlands and native plants. Painters and photographers are also encouraged to enjoy the site.

This retreat, sponsored by Medomak Retreat Center, will immerse participants in the process of reading the landscape as a means to forge a stronger connection to place. Ferry Beach Ecology School is a residential environmental education center on the southern coast of Maine. During the Spring and Fall terms, FBES offers 3, 4 and 5 day residential programs, as well as day programs and outreach programs to public and private schools. (3rd through 8th grades).
